Currently, we do not provide DNS servers. You can use either your domain registrar’s default DNS or Cloudflare’s free DNS.
1. Using Your Domain Registrar’s DNS
- Log in to your domain registrar account.
- Set the default registrar name servers.
- In your registrar’s DNS settings, add the following records provided in your CloudyShaper dashboard:
- Two “A” records
- One CNAME record
- That’s it! Your domain will now point to our cloud server.
2. Using Cloudflare DNS
- Sign up for a free Cloudflare account (or log in).
- Add your domain to Cloudflare and switch to the Cloudflare name servers.
- Once your site is active in Cloudflare, go to the DNS settings.
- Add the following records provided in your CloudyShaper dashboard:
- Two “A” records
- One CNAME record
- Your domain will now be connected to CloudyShaper.
- You may consider disabling the proxy/orange cloud option for their site’s DNS A records and CNAME(s). Note that certain Cloudflare features may rely on their proxy service; however, it’s often recommended to disable it.The proxy can be disabled while adding or editing a DNS record at Cloudflare.
